A SUNNY DAY

It was sunny.

When I was gnawing my pen to strain out a topic for my composition, I felt a spasm of shake and giddiness. ”Maybe it is really a torturing job to work out what I want to write.” I murmured and rubbed my temples to drive the dizziness away.

Suddenly, beside my ear rose a shrinking shout ”earthquake!”
“ Eathquake?How can it be?”
“Earthquake ! Yes! It’s true!” Several assuring answers hit toward me.
“Oh! No!” I sprang up, threw my possession into my bag, rushed out of the door and flew downstairs with the torrents.

The empty square was fulfilled by students in a blink of eye and students’ exchange of giddiness—experience.

Blank—minded, I stood under the shining sun. Something woke me—“Are you OK? I am all right!”—it was a boy making a phonecall. Instantly,I grabbed my cellphone and sent a I-AM-OK message to my parents.My phone rang, and it was from my mom”SiChuang was attacked by a serious earthquake that shaked us just now.Take care! Do not sleep too sound and keep alert at night!In case of any unusual occurrence,be calm and •••” While my only answer can be”En•••I will•••En.”

Eyes blurred,I was in the sea of “Are you OK?I am OK!”

Fortunately,the earthquake turned out to be a minor one.The square was regaining its empty and the classroom was regaining its students.

The sunshine sprayed on me,hot but warm.
I dare not to imagine what it will be should the earthquake in our region were the disaster one that turned Wenchuang into debris.

Sensitive or not, I could do nothing but murmur to myself”Life is fragile .Life is unexpected.Thank you!Thank you,my sun!”

What I am determined to do is to be grateful to nature for its kindness,to be grateful to life for its loveliness and to be grateful to everything I possess.

It was sunny,and the sun shining that day will brighten my every coming day.
