1911年10月10日的辛亥革命开始于武装起义，推翻了清朝的统治，成立了亚洲第一个共和制政府，结束了统治中国几千年的君主专制，传播了民主共和的思想，为中国带来了翻天覆地的社会变革，给近代中国带来了深远的影响。所以说，辛亥革命是一次完全意义上的近代民族民主革命。

The Xinhai Revolution, which began on Oct. 10, 1911 with an armed uprising toppled the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) and set up the first republican government in Asia. It ended the monarchy that had ruled China for thousands of years, spread the ideas of democracy and republic, and brought about great social changes and a profound impactin in modern China.
