Your Own Choice

When I was green about other girls’ much more beautiful dress , when I felt unhappy about my plain talent, my mom always tells me: ”Happiness is your own choice.”
Yes , we were all born happy. As small children, we played, laughed and giggled throughout the day. We didn't need anyone to tell us what we desired. We ate what we wanted and did as we pleased. We  resist,  without hesitation, anything we didn't like. As we got older, we learned to accept that which didn't make us happy--setting aside what we really desired. In addition, we learned that there are things we must do whether we liked it or not; that's just the way life is. That was the lie we chose to believe, but it's not the way life is supposed to be. Most of us compare ourselves with anyone we think is happier, a relative, someone we know a lot, or someone we hardly know.
As a result, what we do remember is anything that makes the other happy and anything that makes us unhappy, totally forgetting that there is something happy in our own life.

So the best way to destroy happiness is to look at something and focus on even the smallest flaw. It is the smallest flaw that would make us complain. And it is the complaint that leads to us becoming unhappy.

If we choose to be happy, he will be blessed; if he chooses to be unhappy, he will be cursed.

However, moods and temporary emotions are not the same as happiness. Happiness exists when you look at the overall picture of your life and you smile,  that is happiness.

Happiness is just what you think will make you happy.
