On the way to conquer Megiddo, there are three possible routes to reach it, and one is Aruna Passage, which is so narrow that is likely to ambush the enemy. The wise Thutmosis III had sent people to spy on the Canaanite Coalition, and found that the Canaanite Coalition had gathered its main force at the exit of the other two channels. Therefore, Thutmosis III decided to choose Aruna Passage. As Pharaoh had expected, the Egyptian army arrived at the Qina River in the south of Megiddo in the evening after a three-day march, and they did not encounter any enemies on the way.
