Krishna, one of the most widely revered and most popular of all Indian divinities, worshipped as the eighth incarnation (avatar, or avatara) of the Hindu god Vishnu and also as a supreme god in his own right.

The rich variety of legends associated with Krishna’s life led to an abundance of representation in painting and sculpture，therefor，can we assume he had substantial influnces on the India culture?I think we can because of the following pictures I found:
In this pisctures,it is not difficult for us to find who is Krishna-----the persom perform the main figure in here.And people discripted it according their imagine impacted by the religion.So,at this point ,we could find that his abundant influnces were some matters derived from the ancients'revering to the unknown,but I think his impacts to India culture could be infered.Namely my assumption is right.

I learn that Krishna is especially venerated in Bengal and Udupi in southern India. One of the many festivals held in his honor is the ratha-yatra Chariot festival at Puri to commemorate Ruadha's successful attempt to persuade Krishna to return to Vrindavan.
