When choosing books, I asked DeepSeek about the main content and themes of each book. Among them, the book that attracted me the most was The House on Mango Street. It tells the story of the growth experience of Esperanza Cordero, a Mexican-American girl, on Mango Street in Chicago. It touches on many profound themes, such as identity and self-identification, gender and female roles, as well as cultural conflicts and immigrant life. In my opinion, these themes are really worth exploring, and I have always been interested in them.

When I read books in the past, I once thought about why it was so difficult for the women in Family, Spring, Autumn and A Doll's House to run away, and I felt deeply helpless. Feminism has always been an issue worthy of consideration. And this book is a classic work about gender equality and female empowerment. I think reading this book might give me some inspiration.

At the same time, I also have a strong interest in racism and identity. I really like the descriptions about race in One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez, which also left a deep impression on me. Besides, the strong sense of identity of the family in the book is remarkable. I have also read books like The Diary of Anni about Jews, as well as movies and TV works like Fresh Off the Boat. All these past experiences have made me even more interested in this book.
