Ready? Fly!

   Suddenly, it seems many things have changed, are changing, and will change, just at the moment I come to be a junior in college…
     Time flies, 3 weeks have passed by since I came back to the campus. Actually, I have the clear idea that I am a real student majoring in English just from now. for I finally have the chance to meet all kinds of knowledge exclusive in English major---British literature, Translation, Linguistics and so on. I don’t know why, I just feel excited. By comparison, during the last two years, it seems that everyday, we did the same thing as in our high school. “Why students specialized in other majors could not only encounter all kinds of new skills, but also have the ability to finish our everyday task in their spare time?” such kind of ideas occurred to me once and once again. But only now, from the perspective of a junior, I come to realize the importance of all those basic skills acquired in the last two years.
    Maybe it is because all those new courses whip up my interest, or something and someone special appeared in my life as well as my heart that make me rethink all of my dream and my goal that I decide to do my utmost to finish all what I should do as a junior. Sometimes I regret, why didn’t I try to listen more, read more and remember more during the last two years, I repeat the phrase “ if only…now I can…”. But it seems meaningless. Better late than never, isn’t it? So just cheer up! Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. So just with time, energy and enthusiasm, I can fly, I do believe I can.
    It is a fact that whenever one has a definite goal and decision, he will make full use of time and energy to make preparations. Everyday I am willing to recite something, translate something, acknowledge something and think something. Actually I find great interests in finishing all above, and feel great satisfied. At least when graduate, I will not feel regret and recall all these, then tell myself proudly, everyday I am different, for I try to know more and learn more!
    A bright future lie before me, and now, I am ready---fly!
