Most of the titles he received were related to his status as a funerary god, such as "He who is upon his mountain" to emphasize his status as the patron saint of the dead and tombs, while the title "He who is in the place of embalming" shows his association with mummification making. His wife is the goddess Anput, and there is a daughter named Kebechet.
