The Maurya Dynasty (from about 324 BC to about 187 BC) is a famous slavery dynasty in the ancient Indian Magadha, named after its founder Chandragupta, who came from a family that raised peacocks.
The Moon Protector drove away the remaining strength of the Greeks in Punjab and gradually conquered most parts of Northern India. In the later period of his reign, the Moon Protector repelled the invasion of the Seleucid Empire and gained the right to rule Afghanistan. In the 3rd century BC, when Asoka ruled, the territory was vast and the regime was powerful. Buddhism flourished and began to spread . After the death of Asoka, his son became independent. Anduro, who was semi independent in the empire, also declared independence in the south. The Peacock Dynasty continued to rule in the Ganges Valley for about 50 years.
In about 187 BC, Brihadrata, the late king of the Peacock Dynasty, was killed by Pushya Mitra Sunda, the minister. The Peacock Empire officially ended. This dynasty was the first regime to basically unify ancient India.

Under the Ashoka Empire, people enjoyed fifty years of serenity and safety following the Kalinga War. India was a powerful empire with a strong economy and military. Western and Central Asia and Europe were all affected by their political and commercial dominance. The Mauryan era in India was also one of social harmony, religious reform, and the advancement of learning and the sciences.

The content is rich and logical and the pictures you added are so cool that attract me most.By reading your content,I get the hang of the spendid lives of handragupta Maurya and Ashoka. To be honest,in my point of view,I think Ashoka was more respectable for his means of domination.

The Mauryan Empire: A Definition of Art and Architecture
While the Mauryan Empire is known for being the first empire to spread across most of India, it also is known for its unprecedented growth of art and architecture. Mauryan art and architecture were created in India between the 4th to 2nd centuries BCE and represented a shift from using wood to stone as a primary material. The architecture can be divided into court art commissioned by Mauryan rulers and popular art commissioned by individuals. Court art consisted of palaces, pillars, and stupas. Popular art consisted of caves, pottery, and sculptures. Mauryan art was at its height under Emperor Ashoka. The Mauryan Dynasty has left its mark in the history of world architecture and art.

Bindusara’s son, Ashoka, was the third leader of the Mauryam Empire. Ashoka left his mark on history by erecting large stone pillars inscribed with edicts that he issued. After leading a bloody campaign against Kalinga (a region on the central-eastern coast of India), Ashoka reevaluated his commitment to expanding the empire and instead turned to Buddhism and its tenet of nonviolence. Many of his edicts encouraged people to give up violence and live in peace with each other—two important Buddhist principals.
