Environmental protection concerns all of us, not only a few people, which has been mentioned times without number but never out of date.
As we know, human beings have been living on this planet for millions of years. We have experienced from barbarization to civilization. The achievement we have got is significant; however the condition of environment goes in the other way. With the upward development, the environment becomes weaker and weaker. It never keeps balanced any more. We ask for and take too much from the earth. And now the situation is very serious which admits of no delay.
Look at the world around us! The area of forest is reduced day by day; many lakes shrink gradually before we know it. The rubbish is everywhere. And due to the industrial drainage and ejection, water and air are not clean and clear any more. It is well known that the world is closed connected. All these changes would evoke great influence on human beings. And we have suffered a lot from this, such as plague, serious disease, flood, green house effect and so on.
Our world has been polluted and if we let it be, we will destroy our homeland. We should think for our generations. What a kind of place and life they will live? We should not be selfish. We should not use up all the resources and leave none for our generations. Protecting environment is our holy duty. So far this is the only planet that we can live. Without it, we have nowhere to go.
And it is the right time to take actions, not tomorrow but now, not from others but from ourselves. Maybe what we can do is very small, but if all of us do a little, the total amount will make a great contribution to the environmental protection.
So what we can do in the daily life is that never use one-off chopsticks, never use plastic bags and never waste water and electricity. I can remember a few months ago, when the school was lacking in water and electricity because of the snow disaster, how the students cherished water, and if everyone uses water in that way, what a large amount of water we will save.
In fact, if we pay attention to environmental protection, we can do many things. What we need now is to take action. If environmental destroying exists, environmental protection will never goes to the end. If we are united together to protect our land, I believe, our earth will be the most beautiful planet in the universe.

Environmental protection has been mentioned times without number but never out of date. Protecting the environment is essential for our planet. As the traditional Chinese saying of "every man has a share of responsibility for the fate of his country", we can say that every man has a share of responsibility for the fate of environment.

Environment is to us what water is to fish. However, with the upward development of civilization, the condition of environment becomes in danger. And now the situation is very serious which admits of no delay.
       
Look at the world around us! The forests are decreasing, the lakes are shrinking, and the greenhouse effect is threatening. And from the theory of Marxism Philosophy, we know that the world is close connected. All these changes would evoke great influence on human beings. The destruction of the ozone layer is a good example, which is one of the global environment issues. If the content of ozone in the atmosphere reduces by 1%, the amount of solar ultraviolet radiation that reaches the earth will increase by 2% and the number of skin cancer patients will increase by 5%-7%. What’s more, excessive ultraviolet rays will kill the microorganisms in the water, and this will result in the extinction of certain species.

Besides, we have watched the movie “An Inconvincible Truth”, from which all of us might have an impression of what the earth will be like if we let it be——we will destroy our homeland. This is the only planet that we can live, without which we have nowhere to go. And it is the right time to take actions. Maybe what we can do is very small, but many a little makes a mickle.
