Thomas Alva Edison

这个杀手有点冷

    This week I read a simple biography of Thomas Alva Edison. I was greatly touched by Edison's unique personalities.
    He was born with a big head and his father wondered  if there was something wrong with his head. In fact, Edison was unusual from others. He always kept in asking all kinds of quetions. He didn't like to go to school. The teachers thought he was stupid. Edison's mother was very angry and took her son home. Edison received the elementary education from his mother.
    Edison was born an inventor. He was such a work-crazy that when he started working,he will leave everything behind. Sometimes he even forgot his own name. He could go on working for several days without having a rest. It seemed that his mind was full of novel ideas, but he never cared about other's comments. He devoted himself to his invention ,wearing dirty clothes.
    What's more, he was an optimist. He was grateful to life. Once his liboratory was destroyed by fire, he said, " Our mistakes are all burned up. Thank God we can start anew." And the next day he started to rebuild his laboratory.
    I was impressed by Edison's genius, determination, hardworking, optimism and childlikeness, whose invention has significantly changed the world.
